“I’m gonna hold. As on right now, I think it’s still on paper,” Talib said. “I’d like to see it with my own eyes, on the field, on tv or something- more than just on paper. As of right now, they had a losing record last season, so I gotta hold and see it with my own eyes, then I”ll buy it.”
That is not a bad take from the Rams CB, and we certainly can’t dismiss how people are beginning to overhype the new Browns roster. With that being said, After adding OBJ and Oliver Vernon to a solid young core that already consists of Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry, and Nick Chubb. The talent is absolutely there, but like Talib said, it’s still on paper.
The season doesn’t even start until September, so we need to calm down with all of this hype. Ultimately, if the team on paper can perform to its full capability of the football field, the Browns could make one of the greatest comebacks in sports history and be AFC title contenders.
